Terms and Conditions

Reading the site means these terms apply between you and that company. If you do not accept them, the remedy is to close the page.
What the site is
It is a written course of general information about starting with an online multiplayer vehicle game on a desktop computer. It is published for readers in Australia and is free to read.
It is not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, financial, medical or security advice, and nothing here should be relied on in place of advice from a qualified person who knows your circumstances. It is not accredited training: there is no enrolment, no assessment, no certificate and no recognised qualification attached to finishing it, and we make no claim that it is recognised by any body. It is not an official, authorised or partner resource for any game, publisher or platform, and it is not a store, a download service or a support channel.
Accuracy and change
The course is written carefully and reviewed twice a year, but software, prices, system requirements, terms of service, account processes and classification decisions all change without reference to us. Where this site describes a particular product, it reflects only what we were told and what was correct when it was reviewed. The publisher of the product is the authoritative source for anything about that product. Where the two disagree, believe the publisher and, if you have a moment, tell us so that we can correct the page.
We give no guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of error, and we may change, add to or withdraw any part of it at any time.
Other websites
The course links to game publishers, to the affiliate destination described on the Affiliate Disclosure page, and to Australian government bodies. None of those sites is under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their terms or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific thing the sentence around it describes.
Your use of the material
The text, stylesheet, script and illustrations are the property of East trading company s.r.o. You may read the site, print the checklists and use them for your own purposes, including at home, in a household or with people you are helping. You may not republish substantial parts of the course elsewhere, present it as your own work, or sell it. Brand names mentioned belong to their owners.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that the Australian Consumer Law or any other law confers on you and that cannot lawfully be excluded. That is the governing rule, and the paragraph below is read subject to it.
To the extent the law permits, East trading company s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from anything you do in reliance on it, including decisions about hardware, software, accounts or purchases. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the relevant content again, which for a free website means making it available to you once more.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, where East trading company s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. That choice does not displace the protections available to you as a consumer under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law, or under the mandatory law of the place where you live.
Changes to these terms
Revised terms are published on this page with a new effective date, and apply from the moment they appear. There is no account and no mailing list, so there is no other way for us to tell you; the date at the top is the record.
